Sodium Hydroxide is used for the following: • In SHORE PAC slurry systems to regulate and treat pH. • Aids SHORE PAC foundation drilling slurry to perform at maximum levels and obtain the right pH of 8-10. • Drilling in acidic contaminants. • Allows SHORE PAC to fully viscosify when facing contaminants such as acid peat soils (organics), hard water (450 PPM) and soils saturated with brackish, saline, or salt water.
